What needs to be done to become a physical therapy assistant?

If I get my AA in Physical therapy is it just a test I need to take to be able to work as a physical therapy assistant? What are the requirements for that test? Please HELP!!!!
If i got my AA would i be eligible to take the test or do i have to have an PTA degree?

You need to earn an AAS in PTA before being eligible to take the test. visit the national PT website for more info under the education section
