Fight Depression

what do you do to fight your depression?
other than doctors and/or medications, do you have your own way of fighting depression? share your unique healing.
I do creative stuff. I like to paint although I’m not very good at it. Doesn’t matter. I like to do it. And it keeps me focused on what I’m doing instead of thinking about what I’m not doing.
I read alot, too. Lots of self-help, we are not alone kind of books. Just got this book called Pug At The Beach, an island dog’s reflections on life. It’s the stories of a small dog who lives on the beach and how he relates to life. He talks about his fear and how he overcame it and what he does when he can’t relate to the creatures around him.
It looks like a kids book but I think it’s meant for adults. The author was given 6 months to live and that’s why the book was written.
